Scrap Pile is a Slam Metal band originating in the small town of Eagle Lake, Texas. It consists of founding members Kieran Schmidt, Jake Miller, Jesse Piña and Jody Kucera who play guitar, vocals, drums, and bass guitar respectively, with the latter of whom departing shortly after recording the first demo. Nearly a year after the formation of the band, they would welcome Joshua Torres as a permanent member to play bass guitar. Scrap Pile began in July of 2018 under the name, The Boz, when one member was approached to play for a community event. During the opening words, the band announced the name change. Since then, they have been steadily writing and have only recently been able to begin playing live shows.
